Supply Chain Manager

Job Responsibilities

◈ Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s solar energy projects.
◈ Manage the end-to-end procurement process for electrical and mechanical components required for solar installations.
◈ Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality standards.
◈ Coordinate with internal teams to forecast supply needs and ensure timely availability of materials.
◈ Oversee logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective transportation and timely delivery of goods.
◈ Monitor inventory levels, manage warehouse operations, and ensure compliance with safety and storage standards.
◈ Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate their performance based on quality, delivery times, and pricing.
◈ Implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and control costs.
◈ Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, track expenses, and report on cost savings.
◈ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing supply chain activities.
◈ Travel as per work requirements.

◈ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
◈ 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry.
◈ Proven experience in procurement, logistics, vendor management, and inventory control.
◈ Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
◈ Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
◈ Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
◈ Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
◈ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
